One of many books by Heinerman on natural healing,
this book concentrates on nutrients. Dr. Heinerman makes nutrition
interesting and he backs up what he says with ample scientific references
and interesting historical facts. While this book does not concentrate
solely on cancer issues, it is comprehensive for total health and
sites many anti cancer nutrients and the studies that support them.
Of particular interest to me were the histories of selenium and laetrile.
Dr. Heinerman explains nutrition in plain English.

his assistant Soma Grismaijer report on the Breast and Bra (BBC) study
that established a scientifically valid link between breast cancer
and bras. The study entailed interviews with 4,700 women conducted
from 1991 to 1993. The authors postulate that the constrictive nature
of a brassiere can suppress the lymphatic system which can cause toxins
to accumulate in the breast.
